apically turneda little downward ; posterior process long, passing the posteriorangle of the inner margin of the tegmina, centrally and laterallycarinate, the central carination finely continued through pronotum,moderately laminately gibbous at base and apically upturned. Length 8; breadth lat. pronot. process. 3 millim. Mah. Bangalore (Madrid Mvs,). By the kindness of Prof. Bolivar of the Madrid Museum, I havebeen allow^ed to examine the type of this species. The posteriorpronotal process is fractured and erectly upturned, ^^ hich deceivedBuckton and induced him to regard this as a natural character upon\hich he proposed the foundation of a new genus, Onranortlms. The species is allied to 0. rudis, Walk., by the broad but moreapically recurved lateral pronotal processes, especially as viewed infront, the colour is also pale ochraceous. 2108.
