Giant Banyan tree, Bangalore, India – Bangalore Picture

Giant Banyan tree, Bangalore, India

A #tourist attraction and also a #venue for many #Indian #movie #production #scenes, this #tree is more than a #couple of #hundred #years old. It expands/grows by #propping #roots from its branches which grows downwards and on reaching the #soil, establishes the root firmly and aids in further branch development into a #networked #mini trees all #inter-connected.
A #comparable tree to this one is the famed #Eva in the 3D movie #Avatar.
Taken while returning back home from #Sringapattana and the #banks of river #Kaveri earlier that afternoon
Another example of the #branches #leading the #lines and #boxing the #hut / #cottage creating a nice #frame-in-a-frame scene.

Of course taken in a #planned way using my #google #pixe3xl #googlepixel3xl #googlepixel
